Staying here had its charms, particularly the grand architecture and spacious, stylish rooms that offered unique character. The overall atmosphere is elegant, perfect for those looking to immerse themselves in historical surroundings.
Had a rough experience with the food and service. the limited dinner menu felt more like pub fare with high prices, and the confusion over dinner reservations really threw off the evening. The directions to our room were misleading, adding unnecessary frustration after a long day. Breakfast was a disorganized buffet with scrambled eggs no one seemed to want, and when I asked for a fried egg, the answer was just a flat no to any alternatives. On top of that, the noise from outside was disruptive—think planes or heavy extraction fans right at dawn, which made getting any real sleep a challenge. Some areas, like the carpets in the stairs and the cleanliness of the rooms, definitely could use more attention.

The experience was exceptional, with a beautifully appointed room featuring a good shower and ample space. Dinner was served in a stunning room that added to the ambiance, and breakfast offered a delightful range, including a delicious full English. The public areas were well-kept, enhancing the overall charm, while the staff's friendliness made the stay memorable. Unfortunately, the room wasn't ready upon arrival, which caused a slight delay, and the price point felt a bit high for the overall experience.

Charming vibes, but a letdown on the menu
The place has this lovely old-world charm with big fireplaces and cozy vibes. Our room was super spacious, and the bathroom was pretty nice too. But man, the food was kinda underwhelming, like a pub menu but fancier prices. Quick tip, the bar area was nice to chill at after a long day.

Beautifully preserved architecture, Charming room designs, Tropical tree-lined driveway
Cleanliness needs serious attention!!! Issues like dirty glassware and broken curtains indicate a lack of thorough maintenance. The gardens could benefit from more care, as they appeared a tad messy during my visit!!!
